COA Barrett LLC is a reputable Civil Engineering, Surveying, Environmental and Land Planning Firm with a distinguished history of providing solutions in a variety of sectors since 1997. We are now accepting resumes for several internships for our Survey Crew and Civil Design teams. As part of our Survey team, you will be involved with boundary surveys, location surveys, topographic surveys and construction stakeout services. As part of the Civil Design team, you will be involved with preparing technical drawings for roadway, grading, utility and stormwater management plans for projects in the private and public
sectors.

Primary Job Functions:

• Performs field survey activities in accordance with company standards and state regulations.
• Assist with the preparations of site layouts, site plans, and zoning documents.
• Make site visits to obtain necessary specifications, including obtaining photographs and sketching.
• Support the creation of technical drawings and exhibits for projects that meet project requirements and client needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team environment
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Must have high school diploma and a valid driver’s license
• Current or previous enrollment in Civil Engineering courses and/or related
  experience (preferred)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred)
• Experience operating and having knowledge of Total Stations, Data
  Collectors, GPS Equipment and associate software (preferred)
